SRML PLEDGES TO GET FITTER WITH FIT INDIA MOVEMENT

Aiming at encouraging students to include physical activity and sports in their everyday lives, a Live telecast of ‘Fit India Movement’ launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium New Delhi on the Sports Day, was arranged today at SRML HSS Parade Jammu. Keeping in mind the strength and the welfare of the students of this Heritage school, arrangements for the Live telecast were made in the ICT Lab, Assembly Ground(through Radio and audio system) and Sangeet Hall (through TV) so that each and every student is benefitted and enlightened to give priority to sports and fitness in his day-to-day life. Fitness Pledge was administered by the Chief Guest Jenab Mohd Latif, Joint Director DSE Jammu, to the students and staff members wherein every individual pledged to lead a disciplined life style which will ultimately lead to a healthy mindset. Going in line with the Movement, the students also participated in the physical exercise programme organised by the Physical Education and Sports Department of the school. All the arrangements of the Live telecast of this FLAGSHIP Movement were executed by the staff members under the able guidance of the worthy Principal Sh Swaran Singh who emphasised the students to join this fitness movement and make a ‘Fitter & Better India’
