Imparting quality education has always been the aim of SRML HSS since its inception but now at the behest of our honourable Education Minister Jenab Naeem Akhtar and MOS Mrs. Priya Sethi, this school has added another feather in its cap as it has been declared as one of the MODEL SCHOOLS in the entire state of Jammu & Kashmir.

Good infrastructure, multi dimensional co-curricular activities and good teaching staff will definitely enable the students to get education for emancipation - Physical, Psychic and spiritual - which has always been the theme of all the educational and co-curricular activities of this school adn so when a student leaves this school after completing his studies over here, he must go out with an enlightened mind and healthy body to dedicate his energy in all these three spheres of life for the service of motherland and the humanity at large.

Being the Principal of this prestigious institution, my duty and responsiblity has increased manifold but I shall leave no stone unturned to work towards the betterment and progress of this heritage school.
